=General Rules=
World record submissions must be performed on an official release of the original game. This includes NES, Famicom, Wii VC, Wii U VC, Kirby's Dream Collection, NES Classic Edition, and Switch Online. The 3D Classics version is considered a separate category.

Runs must be submitted to the most restrictive category. For example, a glitchless run or a 100% run cannot be submitted to the "Any%" category.

All submissions require a video.

Emulators are allowed for non-WR submissions.
