Kirby Squeak Squad follows the traditional formula where Kirby must traverse through levels using copy abilities in order to reach a goal game and fight a boss at the end of every world. Kirby Squeak Squad takes advantage of the Nintendo DS's touch screen by adding a bubble inventory system. Kirby can store up to 5 items in his chest, which includes Bubbles, and Chests which can be collected towards 100%. Bubbles include abilities which can be mixed with eachother, and food which can be used for healing or invincibility.
