Out of Bounds
Pit Crouching Clip
This can be done anywhere where there is a hole of one square. By putting the down key just before the hole is approached, you can enter the floor. You must have the ability to copy other than UFO, Sword, Hammer, and Parasol.
Acute-angled Ledge Clip
This is used in 5-5. There is a place in 7-3 where you can go through the wall in a similar way, but once inside, you cannot get out.
Slope Clip
This is required for Stone Glitch in 1-1. Sub-pixel adjustment and one frame-by-frame input is required and is very challenging. It is necessary to press A for only one frame while still at some speed.
Sword Clip
This is used in TAS. Can skip most of 5-2. Details unknown.

Ladder Clip
Intrusion under the screen
You can just barely get under the ground at the very bottom. If you go any lower from there, it will be a mistake.
2-2 Grand Wheelie Despawn
If you enter a space with Grand Wheelie when the enemy on the left is breathing fire or spewing electricity and there are many effects on the screen, in rare cases Grand Wheelie will not appear. In this case, you will not be able to proceed and will be placed in a soft-lock.
Orb Softlock
After defeating Nightmare Wizard, if you get on the Warpstar at certain frames, the screen scrolls all the way and does not go forward. However, if you wait for a few minutes, it will advance, so technically it is not a soft lock.
