100% in-game definition:

press both buttons in Dyna Blade get all 60 treasures in Great Cave Offensive get all 19 deluxe abilities in Milky Way Wishes finish Helper to Hero with at least 1 helper finish all main game modes (not mini-games)

Meta Knightmare Ultra (IGT)

Complete Meta Knightmare Ultra, single segment Measured by In-Game Time Times below 30 minutes require video proof, Any other times require picture proof of the final screen.

Beat RotK

Timing starts at selecting "1-P Adventure" and ends at final hit on Masked Dedede Times below 1:05 require video proof. Time is rounded down to the nearest second

Individual Level Speedruns

Good for practicing the skills needed to put together a full game run, more optimized then full game runs, mostly due to the addition of candy mixes. cutscene loads have also been found to have faster loading then when done from a clean file.

General Rules

Game Resets

In full-game speedruns, there are some points in the game where performing a soft reset can skip cutscenes to save time (such as after defeating Dyna Blade, or during the credits in 100%).
For categories Measured by IGT (i.e. all Arenas,MKU, and Gourmet Race), all emulators are allowed. For runs measured by real time, Official hardware or MelonDS must be used <find exact version list>
