Don't advance RNG while combining for the shuriken ability or discarding it. Combine stone and cutter and defeat the miniboss. Break out of [https://wikirby.com/wiki/Rick Rick] and use the power again to get [https://wikirby.com/wiki/pitch Pitch] and break the wall. Transform again into [https://wikirby.com/wiki/Rick Rick] and climb the left wall. After getting the crystal shard, transform one final time on the next semisolid platform and use [https://wikirby.com/wiki/pitch Pitch] to fly through the last section.

Immediately float to the top of the level without moving left or right, then mash B and hold right during the transformation into Rick, only breaking out of the transformation at the bottom of the room, then throwing away the ability.
